Privacy Policy – NubiKids

The confidentiality of your personal data is one of the main concerns of NubiKids, developed by Funcode SRL, as a data controller. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the NubiKids mobile application.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the application.
II. Categories of Personal Data Processed
1. Data collected during account creation or sign-in
When you sign in with your Google Account or another supported method, we may collect:
- Your email address (for authentication and account access)
- Your name and/or profile picture (if available through Google Sign-In)
These data are used solely to:
- Identify you as a registered user
- Synchronize your app data and preferences across devices (if applicable)
- Maintain secure access to your account
We do not use your email for marketing communications unless you explicitly consent.
2. Data collected automatically during app use
For analytics, crash reporting, and advertising purposes, we collect:
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- Country/region (approximate)
- Advertising ID (for personalized or contextual ads via Google AdMob)
- In-app usage data such as screens viewed or actions taken
These are collected through trusted third-party SDKs such as:
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Google AdMob
You can opt out of personalized ads anytime from your device settings.
III. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

- Advertising IDs — may be reset or deleted anytime from your device settings.
V. Data Disclosure
Your data may be shared with trusted service providers that help us operate NubiKids, such as:
- Google LLC (Firebase, AdMob, Analytics)
- Apple Inc. (if using iOS version)
- Other technical partners providing hosting or analytics
These providers act as data processors and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect legal rights, safety, or property.
VI. Data Security
We use modern encryption, secure authentication (via Google Identity Services), and restricted access to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
VII. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access – to request confirmation and a copy of your personal data.
- Right to rectification – to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – to delete your data when no longer needed.
- Right to restriction of processing – to limit data use under certain conditions.
- Right to data portability – to receive your data in a structured, readable format.
- Right to object – to object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing.

VIII. Children’s Privacy
NubiKids is designed for children’s education, but account creation and login are intended for parents or guardians only.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
IX. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
